Westmeath is my home county. Lakes, old estates and easy access from every part of the country make it a lovely place to get married.
Weddings in the lake county
Westmeath is known as the lake county, and for good reason. Lough Ree, Lough Ennell, Lough Owel and Lough Derravaragh give the county some beautiful settings, and many of its venues make the most of the water.
Because I’m based in Athlone, I know Westmeath venues well, from lakeside hotels at Glasson to country houses near Mullingar. Being close by also means I’m happy to call out to your venue beforehand so we can plan where the photographs will be taken.
Getting there: I’m based in Athlone, so most of the county is within half an hour. There are no travel charges within Ireland.

Yes. I'm based in Athlone and photograph weddings throughout Ireland. I'm based in Athlone, so most of the county is within half an hour. There are no travel charges within Ireland, and accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
Will you visit our venue before the wedding?
Yes. Westmeath venues are close to me, so I'm happy to meet you there beforehand to look at where the ceremony, portraits and group photographs will happen.
