Clare has a wild, open beauty that couples from all over the world come to see. The coastline, from Loop Head to the Cliffs of Moher, makes a spectacular backdrop for wedding and engagement photographs.
The weather on the coast can change quickly, so I always plan a sheltered alternative for portraits. Inland, the castles and old towns such as Ennis and Bunratty give you plenty of options whatever the day brings.
Getting there: Ennis is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland.

Questions from couples marrying in Clare
Do you photograph weddings in Clare?
Yes. I'm based in Athlone and photograph weddings throughout Ireland. Ennis is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland, and accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
Can we have photographs at the Cliffs of Moher?
Often, yes, but it takes planning. Parts of the cliffs are managed by the visitor centre and some coastal land is private, so we'll check what's allowed and build in travel time. There are also beautiful coastal spots closer to most venues.
