I'm Eoin, the photographer behind Athlone Photography

I’ve loved photography since I was young, and what started in the school photography club grew into the business it is today. I still get the same buzz from it now, and no two jobs are ever quite the same.

These days most of my work is events, corporate headshots and weddings. One week I might be photographing hundreds of students at a college ball, the next I’m setting up a studio in a company boardroom, and at the weekend I’m at a wedding in a country hotel.

For me, good photography is about more than taking a nice picture. It’s about being in the right place at the right time, noticing the moments others might miss, and helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether it’s a crowd of hundreds or one person who hates having their photo taken, I try to keep things relaxed, professional and straightforward.

I’m based in Athlone, right in the heart of Ireland, and I work with businesses, organisations, event teams, couples and families all over the country.
