It’s easy to see why so many couples choose Wicklow. Within a short drive you have the Sugar Loaf, the lakes at Glendalough and Lough Tay, and some beautiful gardens.
Wicklow’s venues tend to be set in large grounds, so there are usually great portrait spots without leaving the estate. For couples who want the mountains, I’ll plan the time and travel so it fits comfortably into the day.
Getting there: Most Wicklow venues are about two hours from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland.

Do you photograph weddings in Wicklow?
Yes. I'm based in Athlone and photograph weddings throughout Ireland. Most Wicklow venues are about two hours from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland, and accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
Can we go into the mountains for photographs?
Yes, if your timeline allows. Lough Tay and Glendalough are spectacular, but they add travel time. Many couples get similar views closer to their venue, and I'll suggest what works best.
