Sligo has everything a wedding photographer could ask for: mountains, beaches, lakes and a lovely soft west-coast light. Benbulben gives the county an instantly recognisable backdrop, and the beaches at Rosses Point and Strandhill are only minutes from town.
I’ll work around your venue to find portrait spots that don’t take you away from your guests for too long, and I always have an indoor plan ready for Atlantic showers.
Getting there: Sligo town is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland.

Yes. I'm based in Athlone and photograph weddings throughout Ireland. Sligo town is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland, and accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
Can we include a beach in our wedding photographs?
Yes, and Sligo is one of the best counties for it. Rosses Point and Strandhill are close to several venues. We'll check the tide and the time of sunset when planning your timeline.
