Weddings in Mayo
Mayo combines grand venues with wild scenery. Ashford Castle at Cong is one of the most famous wedding venues in Ireland, while Westport offers a lively town, a harbour and Croagh Patrick on the skyline.
Many Mayo weddings involve a bit of travel between church, venue and the coast, so I’ll help you plan the timings. That way you get the photographs you want without spending half the day in the car.
Getting there: Castlebar is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland.

Questions from couples marrying in Mayo
Do you photograph weddings in Mayo?
Yes. I'm based in Athlone and photograph weddings throughout Ireland. Castlebar is about an hour and 45 minutes from Athlone. There are no travel charges within Ireland, and accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
Is Mayo too far for you to travel?
Not at all. Castlebar and Westport are under two hours from Athlone, so I can usually travel on the morning. For very early starts or remote locations such as Achill, I may stay locally the night before.
