Roscommon starts just across the Shannon from me. I photograph weddings all over the county, from lakeside hotels to small country churches.
Weddings across Roscommon
Roscommon is right on my doorstep. The west side of Athlone is in the county, so its venues and churches are close to home for me, from the shores of Lough Ree to the north of the county around Boyle.
The county has a quieter, rural feel that suits relaxed weddings. Lough Key and the forest park near Boyle, the lakes along the Shannon and the old estates all make beautiful backdrops, and there are good venues for both large and intimate celebrations.
Getting there: Roscommon starts at the edge of Athlone, and Roscommon town is about 30 minutes away. There are no travel charges within Ireland.
