After months, sometimes years, of planning, the day itself goes by in a flash. My job is to make sure you can relive it: the quiet moments before the ceremony, the vows, the speeches, the laughter and the dancing.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I’ll help with the family photographs and couple portraits so they’re done well and done quickly, and the rest of the time I’ll be in the background capturing the day as it unfolds naturally.
Every wedding is different, whether it’s an intimate ceremony, a hotel wedding or a full day with all your family and friends. We’ll talk it through beforehand so I know what matters most to you.
My approach
Natural, but never left to chance
Most of your wedding photographs will be natural, candid moments. That doesn’t mean I simply wander around hoping for the best. I plan with you beforehand, know the running order, and make sure I’m in the right place for the moments you can’t repeat.
For the couple portraits, I’ll take you away for a short while, give you simple direction and let you enjoy a few quiet minutes together. For family photographs, we’ll agree a list beforehand so the groups are organised quickly and nobody gets left out.
The result is a collection that tells the full story of your day, from the small details to the big celebrations.

Wedding locations
Weddings all over Ireland
I'm based in Athlone, in the centre of the country, and photograph weddings in every county. There are no travel charges within Ireland. Choose your county for local venues and portrait locations.

FAQs
Wedding photography questions
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples get in touch 12 to 24 months before their wedding, and popular dates are often booked a year or more ahead. If your date is sooner, it's still worth asking.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Ireland. Being based in Athlone makes it easy to reach most venues, and there are no travel charges within Ireland. Accommodation may be added where an overnight stay is needed.
How do we secure our date?
A 25% non-refundable deposit holds your date. The balance can be spread out with a payment plan if that suits you better.
How many photographs will we receive?
Usually around 400 or more for morning to dinner coverage, and 450 to 500+ for morning to dancing, all individually edited.
How are the photographs delivered?
In a private online gallery where you and your family can view and download high-resolution and social media sized photographs.
What happens if it rains?
It's Ireland, so I always have a plan for wet weather. I'll look at your venue beforehand and find good places for portraits and group photographs indoors.
Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes. An engagement session is a nice way to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of the camera before the day.
