An engagement photo shoot is an informal photo shoot which is arranged before your wedding day. I use this shoot not to just get great photos of couples but to get to know couples (and for them to get to know me) before their wedding day. Of course, you don’t have to have me booked as your wedding photographer to have an engagement shoot with me. You can certainly book a shoot separately. If you do hire me as your wedding photographer, I will deduct the price of the engagement shoot from the price of the wedding photography.
An engagement shoot will not just be fun and help us to get to know each other before your wedding day, but part of it is to help you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding.

Planning to pop the question? A surprise proposal photo shoot is a lovely way to capture the moment as it really happens, the nerves, the reaction, the laughter, the tears and the first few minutes of being newly engaged.
I can help you plan the photography side of your proposal so everything feels natural and discreet. We can chat in advance about the location, timing and where I should be positioned, so your partner has no idea I am there until after the big moment. After the proposal, we can take a relaxed mini engagement shoot nearby while the excitement is still fresh.

How Long Does an Engagement Shoot Take?
An engagement shoot can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the location and weather.
How Much Does an Engagement Shoot Cost?
The price of an engagement shoot is €350. If you book me as your wedding photographer, this price is deducted from the price of the wedding photography.
Where Does The Engagement Shoot Take Place?
Normally the engagement shoot is done outdoors at a beach, a woods, by a lake or a place that is special to you.
Is an Engagement Shoot Included With My Wedding Photography Package?
Yes! Engagement shoots are included in wedding photography packages unless stated otherwise.
